About GITEX Technology Week 2018
Gulf Information Technology Expo aka GITEX is the biggest trade show in the Middle East, Asia and Africa regions. It was launched in 1981 with the name “GITE”. Later, the ‘X’ was added to the name of the expo that made it “GITEX”. It will be conducted for the 38th time in Dubai. As per the shared details, the trade show is expecting more than 100,000 visitors this year. There will be 4700 exhibitors participating from more than 140 countries. There will be 16,000 corporate and government buyers in the expo. The expo will deliver 100+ hours of content via its parallel sessions delivered by the industry leaders and keynote speakers.
