A New Chapter for ASTPP
It has been a while since we released a major update for the ASTPP Community Edition.
- Many of you noticed it.
- Some of you reminded us.
- And honestly… we felt it too.
Over the last two years, we were deep inside a lot of complex work — scaling Enterprise deployments, re-architecting parts of the platform, improving performance, and solving real-world issues for customers running thousands of concurrent calls.
But during that journey, one thing became very clear to us:
The heart of ASTPP is and has always been the community.
- The open-source version is the foundation.
- It’s what made ASTPP known globally.
- It’s what brought thousands of businesses into our ecosystem.
- And it’s the reason we push so hard to make ASTPP better every year.
- So earlier this year, we took a step back and asked ourselves:
What should the next generation of ASTPP Community Edition look like?
Should it be just another update?. Or should we modernize it, refresh it, and make it truly ready for 2026 and beyond? We chose the second option. And today, for the first time, we’re excited to share a glimpse of what’s coming in ASTPP Community Edition v7.0.
