Announcement Introducing iCallify Built by ASTPP’s Engineering Team to Power Modern Contact CentersExplore iCallify

Version 7.3 EE

New Features

Intercom Group Module

Attendant-based intercom services, built under Applications. An inbound DID rings the Attendant, who blind-transfers the caller to a Member Device using a transfer code plus Intercom Code; a Recall Code lets members call back. A new billable service line for operators serving residential buildings, campuses and gated communities.

SIP Device Speed Dial

Per-device speed dial with a dedicated GUI. Codes use a star prefix plus two or more configurable digits and can be set from the customer portal or the handset via feature codes. Codes are isolated per device and still pass PIN, route and permission checks; legacy single-digit speed dial is unchanged.

PIN Management

Require a four- to eight-digit PIN before a device calls controlled destinations, set at account or device level with the device value taking precedence. PINs are collected inline or via IVR. Rejected calls are never charged, and the CDR records the PIN used, giving an audit trail on every chargeable call.

Outbound Rules

GUI-based control over which destinations a device may dial. Normal rules match on prefix and length; Emergency rules match exact numbers, are Admin-only, and are evaluated first, bypassing PIN, rules and billing so life-safety calls always complete. With PIN management, this closes a long-standing toll-fraud exposure on hosted PBX seats.

Voicemail Box in the Customer Portal

Customers manage device voicemail from My Account in their own portal: play inline, download, mark read or unread, filter by device, status, date or caller ID, and delete in bulk. The store is shared with FreeSWITCH, so nothing syncs back to the handset. Removes a common support ticket category and strengthens the hosted-PBX proposition.

Single and Multi Domain Mode

A PBX addon setting controls domain assignment at account creation. Separate (default) gives each account its own domain, with usernames unique per account; Shared puts all accounts on one Company Profile domain, with usernames unique system-wide and duplicate protection enforced. Cross-account calls use interconnect codes in Separate, direct dial in Shared. Backend-only, changed by ASTPP Support, and applies to new accounts only.

Configurable Call Recording Start Time

Choose when recording starts on calls with recording enabled: Ringing captures ringback plus conversation, Answer captures the conversation only. A simple way to meet differing jurisdictional requirements and cut storage on high-volume recorded traffic.

ANI Group Carrier Routing

Caller-ID-based rating and routing on the carrier side. Incoming ANIs are matched against configured group prefixes, and the active termination rate for that destination, trunk and ANI Group is applied, falling back to the default rate where none exists. Wholesale carriers can price and route the same destination differently by originating range, a direct margin lever on mixed A-Z traffic.

Improvements

Active, Upcoming and Purged Rate Status Badges

Origination and Termination Rate lists now carry Active, Upcoming and Purged status badges across the Admin, Sub-Admin, Reseller and Customer portals. Rate teams can see at a glance which rate is currently billing and which is scheduled to take effect, removing a frequent source of mis-rating during rate-deck changeovers.

Native XLSX Import for Rates and DIDs

Origination Rates, Termination Rates and DID management now accept Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) files directly, in addition to CSV. Carrier rate decks arriving as spreadsheets can be loaded without a conversion step, reducing both turnaround time and the formatting errors that conversion introduces.

DID Order and Billing Cycle Details

The DID module now exposes order and billing-cycle detail fields on the DID list and in exports, showing when a DID was ordered, when its current cycle started and when it next renews. Operators can reconcile DID revenue against renewals without querying the database.

DNC Account-Level Scoping

Do Not Call entries can now be scoped to a specific account rather than applying platform-wide. Resellers and customers see and manage DNC rules within their own scope, which lets operators run compliant suppression lists per tenant instead of maintaining one shared list.

DNC Temporary Ban Duration and Automated Expiry

DNC entries support a configurable temporary ban duration, and a scheduled expiry job now lifts those bans automatically when the period ends. Ban configuration is also available from customer fraud rules, and fraud rules can trigger DNC entries directly, so suspicious traffic can be suppressed for a defined window without manual cleanup afterwards.

Fraud Rules Interface and Alert Notifications

The fraud detection interface has been reworked with clearer block-action labels and the option to hide inactive rules, so operations staff see only what is currently enforcing. Fraud alert email templates have been updated, and duplicated fraud detection runtime files have been consolidated so the addon path is the single source of truth.

Redis-Backed SIP Registration Cache

On-demand SIP registration lookups against MySQL have been replaced with an event-driven Redis cache. Registration handling is materially faster under load, which matters most on platforms carrying large registered-device counts where registration storms previously pushed database load.

FreeSWITCH Scaling for Large Domain Deployments

A mod_xml_curl oversized-file condition caused by domain alias loops in sofia.conf has been resolved, removing a hard scaling ceiling on deployments running very large domain counts. Operators running hosted PBX at scale can now grow tenant counts without hitting the switch configuration limit.

Complete Multi-Language Translation Across All Portals

Multi-language translation support now covers all page types, menus and UI components across the Admin, Reseller and Customer portals, and previously missing or incorrect translations have been corrected. Operators serving non-English markets can present a fully localised portal to their own customers.

Profit Field in the Provider Summary Report

The Provider Summary report now includes a profit margin field alongside existing trunk performance metrics. Margin by provider is visible directly in the report, without exporting and reconciling termination cost against origination revenue separately.

Trunk IP Column in Live Calls and Customer CDR Reports

A Trunk IP column has been added to the Live Calls report and the Customer CDR report. When a specific carrier IP starts degrading, operators can isolate the affected traffic immediately rather than inferring it from trunk names.

Public Download Links for Automated Reports

Scheduled reports now generate secure public download links that work without an active GUI session. Reports can be delivered straight into a recipient’s workflow or picked up by an external system, removing the need for a portal login just to retrieve a scheduled export.

Quick Search in the Customer Calls Report

Quick Search in the Customer Calls report now works across Country, Destination, SIP User, Caller IP, Call Type and Direction. Support teams investigating a disputed call can filter to it in one step instead of falling back to advanced filters.

Enhanced Addon Installation Flow

The addon installation flow now includes proper error handling and clearer feedback during install and uninstall. Failed installations report the reason rather than leaving the page in an indeterminate state.

Speed Dial Code Length Validation

Speed dial entries now enforce minimum and maximum length validation on the configured code, preventing conflicting or unroutable short codes from being saved.

IP Settings Added Through the API

IP entries created through the API now take effect in the same way as entries added manually in the portal. Integrators provisioning customer IP authentication programmatically no longer need a manual portal step to activate them.

Inbound Call Handling for Prepaid Customers

Inbound DID delivery to prepaid customer accounts has been corrected, so prepaid tenants receive inbound calls reliably under the same conditions as postpaid accounts.

MNP Lookup Database Configuration Labelling

The MNP Lookup addon section heading has been renamed to Database Server Configuration (MySQL only), making the supported database type unambiguous during setup.

Default Provider Account Expiry

The default Provider account expiry date is now set to a long-term future date, preventing default provider records from lapsing and interrupting carrier-side routing on long-running installations.

Reduced Platform Logging Volume

Excessive logging written to the ASTPP log directory has been curtailed. Disk consumption on busy platforms drops noticeably and genuine errors are easier to find in the remaining output.
