It’s not even two months to launch of ASTPP 4.0 and we are here with a better and enhanced version of ASTPP 4.0. As announced at the time of the release of ASTPP 4.0, it is A Smart TelePhony Platform and we are determined to do everything needed to make it the most competitive smart telephony platform. To live up to our words, we have put a dedicated team of ASTPP experts that work regularly in research, development and quality assurance sections for this open source VoIP solution and of course, in the Enterprise version as well.
We are glad to announce the version 4.0.1 of ASTPP: A Smart TelePhony Platform.
This version is in production since 19th July 2019. Anyone can download it from the download page.
What’s new in ASTPP 4.0.1?
This new release of ASTPP is furnished with some new features, add-ons and performance enhancements. Let’s see in brief:
New Add-ons
The ASTPP 4.0 had introduced the concept of add-ons to resolve compatibility issues. There are some features available for all and some of them are only availed to the ASTPP Enterprise Version Users. We have developed five new add-ons which are available for both, community and Enterprise Version users.
Multilingual
ASTPP 4.0 used to support only the English language. We understand the businesses cater to nonnative English speaking countries as well. To help you cater to these countries we have developed four different language add-ons as well as added language localization support in the core ASTPP. By using these new add-ons and the main version of ASTPP, one can use this smart telephony platform in five different languages:
- English
- Spanish
- French
- Russian and
- Brazilian Portuguese
MailChimp
We have developed an add-on to synchronize your ASTPP contacts with the MailChimp contact lists. Now, the addition and editing of the contact data from ASTPP to MailChimp will be performed automatically if you add this add-on.
New Features
The ASTPP 4.0.1 comes with a few new features to benefit its users with the added functionalities.
- Admin can set the default language for his platform.
- ASTPP developers can use MariaDB now as ASTPP 4.0 started supporting it.
- In the schedule report, we have added additional parameters to support the search by float value.
- In the schedule report, the same account can get multiple scheduled reports
For Enterprise Users:
- New API functions
- DID bulk purchase and edit facility
- The monthly billing cycle for the product module
Performance Enhancement and Improvisations:
The team ASTPP made many enhancements and improvisations by fixing bugs, adding security patches and enhancing user interface even more. These fixes are made in the core version of the ASTPP as well as in add-ons. Below is the list of add-ons which are enhanced and improvised:

- FoIP (Fax over IP)
